PIA’s deficit has come down from Rs 52.6 billion to Rs 34.64 billion.
PIA has released its financial results for the financial year 2020. According to the report, the deficit of PIA has come down from Rs 52.6 billion to Rs 34.64 billion. Significant increase in PIA’s revenue in the year 2020 due to corona virus. In the financial year ended December 31, 2020, PIA’s revenue was Rs 94.98 billion, while in 2019, PIA’s revenue was Rs 147.50 billion.
Expenditure on purchase of aircraft fuel also declined sharply. PIA spent Rs 21.15 billion on fuel in 2020, Rs 50 billion on fuel in 2019 and Rs 5 billion on administrator expenditure in 2020. 70 crore, the administrative expenditure in the financial year 2019 was Rs. 6.20 billion.
