PIA has released its financial results for the financial year 2020. According to the report, PIA’s deficit has come down from Rs 52.6 billion to Rs 34.64 billion. In the financial year ended December 31, 2020, PIA’s revenue was Rs 94.98 billion, while in 2019, PIA’s revenue was Rs 147.50 billion.
Expenditure on purchase of aircraft fuel also declined sharply. PIA spent Rs 21.15 billion on fuel in 2020, Rs 50 billion on fuel in 2019 and Rs 5 billion in 2020. 70 crore, the administrative expenditure in the financial year 2019 was Rs. 6.20 billion
