In Pindi Bhattian area of Hafizabad district of Punjab, organic liquid prepared by a Pakistani agronomist has been used to make the cultivable and cultivated lands cultivable, which has changed the condition of barren and cultivated lands for 100 years.
The total area of Punjab is more than 37.14 lakh acres and it is increasing day by day. The research institute has been trying to make such lands cultivable for decades. Ghulam Abbas Wind, principal scientist at the research center, said gypsum and acid were currently being used to cultivate calcareous and turbid soils. Gypsum and acid are selected based on the amount of salt in the soil. Importantly, it takes a long time to make the land cultivable in this way and then this process has to be done continuously. Now the organic liquid that has been used here has come up with amazing results. Only five days after use, earthworms have started to form in the soil and the soil has started absorbing water.
Aftab Ahmad Sheikh of the Shored Earthquake Research Institute told the Express Tribune that his institute is currently using the approved method to make the cultivated and cultivated land cultivable. He said that due to water scarcity, rising temperatures and non-cultivation of lands in the country for a long time, the area under cultivable and fertile lands is increasing which is a matter of concern.

Wheat has now been cultivated in the area of Pindi Bhattian where this formula has been used, while along with this field there is a large area of Klar and Shora on which a layer of white clerk is visible.
