: The government has increased the house rent of officers and employees of FBR Customs Group from grade one to 22.

The government has increased the house rent of officers and employees of FBR Customs Group from grade one to 22. The house rent has been increased for the federal employees working in 6 major cities of the customs group. A notification has also been issued in this regard. The new fares will be applicable from July 1, 2021.

Employees working in Grade 1 to Grade 2 in Islamabad will get Rs 7,029 while employees working in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Quetta, and Peshawar will get Rs 6,591, in Grade 3 to Grade 6 in Islamabad. Employees working in Lahore, Karachi, and other cities will get Rs. 9,654 while employees working in Grade 7 to Grade 10 in Islamabad will get Rs. 16,403 while Lahore, Employees working in Karachi and other cities will get Rs 14,682.

According to the notification, FBR employees working in Grade 11 to Grade 13 working in Islamabad will get Rs 24,744 while employees working in other cities will get Rs 21,462 per month. Employees working in Grade 14 to 16 in Islamabad will get Rs. 31,085 and employees in other cities including Lahore and Karachi will get Rs. 27,134 per month. Officers working in Grade 17 and 18 in Islamabad will get Rs. 41,147 while officers working in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Quetta, and Peshawar will receive Rs. 35,898.

FBR officers in Grade 19 Islamabad will get Rs 54,704 per month while those working in other cities including Lahore and Karachi will get Rs 46,816. Grade 20 officers working in Islamabad will get Rs. 68,700 in house rent and officers from other cities will get Rs. 59,079. Officers working in Grade 21 in FBR in Islamabad will get house rent. 82,261 per month while officers of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Quetta, and Peshawar will get Rs. 71,107 per month. Grade 22 officers working in Islamabad will get Rs. 98,444, while officers working in Grade 22 in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Quetta, and Peshawar will get an increase of Rs. 89,230.
