A spokesman for the finance ministry said there was no truth in reports that talks with the IMF had failed.
Spokesman Muzammil Aslam said that the talks would resume on Monday from where they were on Friday. The talks would resume on Monday without any interruption. There is no final date for the end of the talks. The talks with the IMF will continue till successful.

The spokesman added that the finance secretary and his team were still in Washington for talks, with the finance minister and governor scheduled to meet in New York.
