The chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has said that if tax evasion is proved, SIMs, electricity, and gas connections will be cut off.
Briefing the National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance, the Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said that in the first two months of the current financial year 2021-22, the revenue of Rs 850 billion has been collected. And will issue notices to those who conceal their income. If tax evasion is proved, SIMs will be closed and electricity and gas connections will be disconnected.
Chairman FBR Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed during the briefing said that revenue of Rs. 4734 billion was collected in the financial year 2020-21.
