The number of companies registered with the SECP has risen to 137,054.
As a result of reforms made by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) to facilitate business, a total of 2,257 new companies were registered in Pakistan in February, after which they were registered with the SECP. The number of companies became one lakh 37 thousand 54 companies.
Registration of C companies by SECP has increased by 39% in one month. In February, 99 percent of companies registered online, 30 percent of applicants were issued registration certificates on the same day and 175 foreign investors registered companies from abroad through e-services.
