In the local barter markets, gold prices rose by Rs 100 and Rs 86 per tola and Rs 10 per gram, respectively. The effects of the price hike were also felt in the barter markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.
In the local barter markets, the price of gold per tola has gone up to Rs 104,100 and the price of gold per ten grams has gone up to Rs 89,249. However, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 1350 and the price of 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs 1157.40.
