NASA’s Ingeniti helicopter has been successfully flying over Mars, with the third and most recent flight successfully completed.

According to Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA, in the third flight, the Ingenity helicopter reached an altitude of 5 meters (16 feet). It reached the same height on its second flight.

However, in the test flight, which took place between the nights of April 25 and 26, 2021, according to Pakistani time, the Ingenity covered an additional distance of 50 meters (164 feet), after which it returned to the same place. From where he flew.

During this flight, the engine speed was 2 meters per second (7.2 kilometers per hour) which can be considered as very fast.

Jet Propulsion Laboratory has also released a video of the third test flight of the Ingenetic helicopter on YouTube, which is one minute and 16 seconds long.

This video, taken from the Mars cam Z’s vehicle, the Mars caravan, shows the Ingeneti helicopter flying to the right, disappearing from the camera’s sight, and returning shortly afterwards.
