It has been revealed that fake licenses have been issued in the Department of Explosives, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum Division.
Two officers of the Department of Explosives have been sacked for negligence of their responsibilities and departmental irregularities. Deputy directors and assistant directors have been issuing fake licenses to companies.
The Assistant Director issued fake licenses to 3 oil terminals keeping in view the safety norms while the Deputy Director Department of Explosives issued fake licenses to 13 oil terminals ignoring public safety.
